Outing to Lake Ekoln

Tired from all the stress of moving to a new city or country? Overwhelmed with all the new things you learned from the university?

Take your newly found friends or meet more on our outing to lake Ekoln, 7 km south of Ångström. We will enjoy the late Swedish summer, the winter will be long enough😃. This is a great opportunity to relax and experience some of the nature around Uppsala. Maybe you can also spot some animals! Make sure to bring food, drink and plenty of layers - and swimming gear if you're brave enough!

Both groups will meet at the MER tent before departure, with the hiking group leaving at 10:30am and the cycling group at 11:15am. If there is enough interest we may have a running group too! If you can't make it this early you're welcome to join us at the lake, we will be there for most of the day (weather dependent!). Contact a comittee member for confirmation that we're still there.

Bus route: take the 11 bus from Uppsala Regementsvägen near Ångström towards Uppsala Gottsunda Torg and get off at Uppsala Granebergsparken (19 min), then walk 500m.
